Another improvement, over the years, has been to eliminate the discharge tube nut - previously a risk for loss if not installed properly. Modifying the shape of the discharge tube completed that change. The stainless steel pumps were also redesigned to eliminate the knob o-ring by incorporating it into the head tube insert.
